WGU Names Ramah Malebranche as Senior Regional Manager
Accredited online Western Governors University (WGU) has announced that Ramah Malebranche has been named senior regional manager for the Southeast. In this newly created role, Malebranche will help lead strategic partnerships, regional growth and community engagement across North Carolina and six other Southeastern states.
Malebranche brings over a decade of experience as an interdisciplinary education strategist and education technology leader. His career spans K-12 and higher education, EdTech sales, as well as consulting with WGU Labs – the investment and innovation arm of WGU – where he led transformative initiatives at the intersection of technology, workforce development and equity. At WGU Labs, Malebranche was instrumental in launching scalable learning solutions, including policy and partnerships that advanced WGU’s Prison Education Program.
Malebranche is a proud father and enjoys building community through writing, recording and performing original music. He is a longtime member of ReWork Training and looks forward to active participation with such organizations as the North Carolina Economic Development Association, the Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce and other local chambers. Malebranche earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and his master’s degree from Columbia College Chicago.
