Meet Lacy Pope

As Vice President of Out of the Box Advisors, Lacy Pope is passionate about helping small business owners gain clarity, get organized, and grow with confidence. Whether she's developing strategy, streamlining operations, or building marketing plans, Lacy loves helping people turn big ideas into actionable steps. Her passion for connecting people naturally extends into her role as a Charlotte Area Chamber Ambassador.

Why She Became an Ambassador

For Lacy, serving as an Ambassador was a natural fit.

“I love connecting people. If I meet two people who should know each other, I basically turn into a professional relationship matchmaker. Becoming an Ambassador felt like a natural way to grow my network, support fellow business owners, and represent Out of the Box Advisors through genuine, relationship-first connection.”

She appreciates the welcoming environment the Chamber provides and enjoys helping new members experience that same sense of connection and momentum.

Out of the Box Advisors is already looking forward to hosting their own ribbon cutting celebration in October as they mark their 15th anniversary.

What Does Fun Look Like?

“Fun is being completely unplugged from stress, laughing so hard your cheeks hurt, and forgetting to check your phone. Bonus points if there's sand between my toes and sunshine on my face!”

Hidden Talent: Lacy sang opera in college and had an incredible seven-to-eight octave vocal range.

“It's not especially useful in day-to-day business strategy, but it does make projecting my voice at a networking event pretty easy!”

How She Welcomes New Members

One of Lacy's favorite parts of being an Ambassador is learning about the people behind the businesses.

“Everyone has a different story. Understanding someone's goals helps me figure out how I can support them, whether that's making an introduction, sharing a resource, or simply being a friendly face when walking into a room full of strangers feels intimidating.”
