Every Weekend in August The Carolinas’ Favorite Water Park Celebrates 40 Years With A Pint-Sized Party 

The birthday festivities are in full swing at Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe as the park celebrates 40 years with even more time to splash with extended hours and a completely reimagined Kids Fest event. Parkgoers can now enjoy the Carolina’s Favorite Water Park until 8 p.m. Friday, August 16, Saturday August 17 and Sunday, August 18. Plus, the young and young at heart can experience new entertainment every single weekend in August for a family style celebration. 

“There’s no better place to celebrate like a kid than with us here at Wet ‘n Wild, where having fun is the whole pointe,” said General Manager Adam Good. “The fun isn’t over yet as we continue our 40th birthday bash celebration with even more ways to celebrate the park and our guests all August long.” 

Wet n Wild Emerald Pointe is the best place to be a kid with three all-new ways to celebrate including: 

•Sticky Paint show: Every weekend, four times a day, guests will take part in the all-new, interactive show. Sticky Paint will lead guests through the creation of a masterpiece-in-paint and will find themselves clapping, laughing, and tapping their feet along with the Sticky Paint Crew.

 •Bubble Mania: taking place near the Sticky Paint show the park will host a massive bubble bash on August 17 and 18. This event will immerse guests in bubble bliss with bubble dance parties, bubble artists, oversized bubble balls, a DJ, interactive performers, giveaways, games and so much more. 

•Bootstrap Bash: When the bubbles float away, pirates and mermaids will play during the all-new Bootstrap Bash on August 24 and 25. This sea-themed event will feature foam parties, juggling pirates, splashy mermaids, photo ops, a DJ, games, and treasures that are sure to delight during this magical and swashbuckling event. 

Additionally, Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe will offer several all-new food and beverage specials like the Snap, Crackle and Swirl Funnel Cake, meet, and greets with the park’s mascot, Splish and unforgettable memories on over 40 rides and attractions.
