This workshop is designed to develop core inclusive leader skills in everyone who wants to be more effective at human interaction. We start with reflecting on our own lived experiences – so that participants can engage more fully and lead others more effectively. We then better understand the systemic challenges of various diverse communities, reduce barriers to inclusion, and ensure everyone can contribute at their highest levels in your organization. Excellent for anyone seeking to build more effective and dynamic relationships across differences, engender an increased sense of belonging for self & others, and lead inclusion & belonging change initiatives in their organization.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Define diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging, and articulate why each matters.
• Better understand their own group identities, unconscious bias, and behaviors that can create feelings of inclusion and exclusion.
• Use a framework that drives change at multiple levels from individual to group to organizations/systems.
• Implement ideas and plans for interacting more effectively across differences and creating more inclusive organizations.
