Legal Specialist

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or necessary.
Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

This requires the specialist to communicate with our Law Offices and Collection Agencies. These agencies handle the past due accounts within a Homeowner’s Association. We ensure the Law Office knows which accounts are in their possession and withdraw accounts that have been closed. We also work with the home owner to create payment plans. You will be required to speak with the home owner via email and phone to discuss questions and concerns over the closing of their home. We will also discuss their HOA account regarding the closing and be willing to assist in sending documents, insurance information, and other oddities.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Process and Monitor Payments.

Assist Real Estate Agents.

Assist Law Offices.

General ability to organize, communicate, use problem solving and decision-making skills. Other duties as assigned.


An individual must be proficient in each of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position.

Planning and Improvement: Plan for and improve work- Accepts responsibility and meets expectations for own work. Identifies steps needed in order to carry out work required. Must be able to train quickly and efficiently. Must be Microsoft proficient (specifically Excel and Word). Must be able to navigate the internet quickly and efficiently.

Influence and Communicate- Listens to others and asks questions about what is needed. Communicates in a respectful and professional manner. Ability to communicate via email and over the phone with respect and eloquence.

Ethics and Compliance- Follows all company policies and procedures. Shows integrity and ethical behavior in all work situations.

Physical Activities
The following physical activities are necessary to perform one or more of the essential functions of this position.

Must be physically present in the office.

Creates documents, reports, etc. using a writing instrument or computer.

Enters and locates information on a computer.

Visually verifies and/or reads information.

Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment.

Moves, lifts and carries supplies weighing less than 20 pounds without assistance.

Strong communication skills

Typing speed of 50 WPM with minimal errors

General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

General knowledge of Gmail

Strong ability to multitask

Strong ability to pay attention to detail

Retain and recall a large amount of detailed information

Move quickly and efficiently through assigned workloads


High School Diploma

2 years Accounting Experience
