Dr. Emily Jensen Wheeler is the Executive Director of Dress for Success Charlotte, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women to achieve economic independence. Emily brings expertise in higher education and nonprofit workforce development programs to the role and has published research on women's navigation of gender-based power dynamics in career advancement. Emily's leadership philosophy - we are whole people who are most effective when we can bring our whole selves to work - has allowed her to be effective in her career and community. To practice work-life equity, Emily enjoys spending time with her partner and children, gardening, and dabbling in pottery - a messy and addictive pursuit!
