James Jeter | Skyla Credit Union | VP of Business & Community Development



James Jeter, VP of Business and Community Development at Skyla Credit Union, leads business development and community engagement strategies. With over 10 years of experience in community development, James is passionate about fostering collaboration and creating impactful solutions.

Before joining Skyla, he played a key role in planning and implementing collective impact initiatives at the United Way of York County, SC. His leadership was essential in achieving the organization’s mission and strategic goals, effectively addressing critical community needs.

At Skyla, James focuses on expanding financial wellness through strategic partnerships and educational initiatives. He drives member acquisition and engagement by conducting financial wellness presentations and providing training for retail employees to ensure seamless member experience.

James is actively involved in the community as a board member of the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce and serves as the board Chair of Habitat for Humanity York County. His leadership consistently aligns organizational strategies with community needs to drive meaningful change.

Trey Ely | Alloy Personal Training | Franchise Partner


Trey Ely, Franchise Partner with Alloy Personal Training is an experienced leader in the fitness and business development industries. Before joining Alloy, Trey built a career in sales and marketing with professional sports organizations, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Commanders, and Cincinnati Reds. He later transitioned into the fitness industry, where he helped grow a personal training management company from one location to more than 40 health clubs nationwide.

As Alloy’s second franchisee, Trey has helped expand the brand’s presence while bringing personalized, results-driven fitness experiences to the communities he serves. He and his business partner now own 4 locations in Charlotte and 2 in Salt Lake City, as the brand has grown to over 150 locations nationally.  In 2025, he was recognized as Alloy Personal Training’s Franchisee of the Year.

David Roundtree | Marathon Health | Therapist | Chief Steward



David Roundtree, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in North and South Carolina with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths. Throughout his career, he has been guided by a deep belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, regardless of their background or circumstances.

David is especially passionate about supporting marginalized and underserved communities and working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Through partnerships with local churches, nonprofit organizations, and community groups, he strives to foster conversations that promote healing, understanding, and emotional well-being.

His experience spans both urban and rural settings and includes work with older adults, youth, BIPOC communities, and faith-based communities. David earned his Bachelor of Social Work from Livingstone College and his Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. He is currently a student at Portland Seminary in the Doctor of Leadership in Global Perspectives program

For more than three years, David has served with Marathon Health, where he continues to support individuals facing personal, emotional, and relational challenges. Known for his compassionate and approachable style, David believes that each person already possesses unique gifts, strengths, and resilience. His goal is to create a supportive space where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to recognize their own potential, overcome obstacles, and move toward meaningful growth and lasting well-being.

Eric Gelly | Skyla Credit Union | President & CEO


Eric Gelly, President and CEO of Skyla Credit Union since 2022, Gelly has led the organization through mergers and a major rebranding. Skyla Credit Union boasts assets of approximately $1.57 billion and serves over 103,000 members with branches across NC, SC, VA, and CA. 

Gelly’s prior roles include president of CUNA Strategic Services and EVP/COO of the Carolinas Credit Union League. He has extensive board experience, having served as board chairman of Advanced Fraud Solutions and executive director of Carolina Credit Union Services. He is deeply involved in his community, enjoying time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities.
