A Sustainable Future for Charlotte: Challenges & Opportunities

Did you know that an average of 100 people move to Mecklenburg County every day, and we are projected to add an additional one million residents by 2030?

Whether you’ve lived in the Charlotte area for decades or only a few months, you’ve likely noticed signs of growth all over town. Join us for a special Earth Day presentation by Sustain Charlotte's program director, Meg Fencil, as she explains the environmental, economic, and social challenges that have accompanied our rapid growth rate. You'll learn ways that we can all work together to make choices today that will lead to a more sustainable city and region for generations to come.
