Charlotte-area B Corp adds a self-service option for residential and commercial cleanup projects

Trash & Stash has expanded its waste and removal services with the addition of 18-yard roll-off dumpster rentals throughout Charlotte, Fort Mill, and surrounding communities.

The new service gives customers another option for tackling cleanouts, renovations, property turnovers, moves, and other projects that generate more material than can easily be handled through regular trash service.

For more than five years, Trash & Stash has primarily provided full-service junk removal, cleanouts, commercial decommissioning, and event waste services. With full-service removal, Trash & Stash crews handle the labor, loading, transportation, and material management for the customer.

Dumpster rental introduces a more self-directed and budget-conscious alternative.

“We’ve always tried to meet customers where they are,” said Cameron Ungar, founder of Trash & Stash. “Some customers want us to come in and handle an entire project from start to finish. Others have the time and ability to do the work themselves—they just need a container and a way to get everything off the property. Dumpster rental lets us serve both.”

Built for Homes and Businesses

Trash & Stash's 18-yard roll-off dumpsters are suitable for a range of residential projects, including moving and downsizing, estate cleanouts, garage and basement cleanouts, furniture removal, and light renovations.

The service also provides another option for Charlotte-area businesses, property managers, contractors, retailers, and facility teams managing office cleanouts, property turnovers, renovation debris, packaging materials, fixture removal, and recurring cleanup projects.

The relatively compact containers are approximately 14 feet long and feature rear doors for easier loading, providing substantial capacity without the footprint of a larger commercial roll-off.

Standard rentals are $425 and include delivery, pickup, up to three days of use, and one ton (2,000 pounds) of disposal. Longer-term rentals and dumpster swap-outs are also available.

Another Tool for Responsible Material Management

Dumpster rental presents a different model because customers load the containers themselves. Customers with materials they would like recycled or diverted are encouraged to contact Trash & Stash before loading so materials can be separated when appropriate.

Trash & Stash can also separately manage many materials that cannot be mixed into a standard dumpster load.

“The dumpster isn't replacing what we already do,” Ungar said. “It's another tool. Whether someone wants a crew to do all the lifting or wants to tackle the project themselves, we want to provide a practical way to clear the space and manage what comes out of it responsibly.”
