When I was about to retire from 30 years of broad-based financial planning (personal, business, business valuation & brokering businesses, commercial RE, advice, etc.), I was contacted by a large NY publisher to write a bias-free and authoritative financial planning book (for consumers and other pros). I did so, and that book, The Secrets of Successful Financial Planning (SSFP), sold in the many thousands. Today, it is marketed by Simon & Schuster and may be obtained almost anywhere.
