Experiencing Imposter syndrome doesn’t mean waving a neon sign that says “you’re not good enough.”
Sometimes: It just whispers.
Sometimes it’s quieter.
It shows up as hesitation when you finally charge what your work is truly worth.
Or that fleeting thought...“If it feels this easy, it can’t be that valuable.”
Recently, a friend and I were talking recently about this exact moment. She’d raised her rates, owned her expertise, but still found herself questioning "Was she doing enough?".
It reminded me of a survey I did a few years ago with women business owners. The #1 thing that kept them from scaling beyond seven figures wasn’t lack of strategy, more sales, or a better team.
They couldn’t imagine growing significantly bigger because what they did best came so naturally they didn’t understand the VALUE that their clients received,
Here’s what I told my friend:
What comes easy to you is challenging for others.
And…
If you're questioning the value you bring to others, start looking externally at the feedback people are actually giving you.
That's truth.
"Your perceived value, your perceived confidence, your perceived knowledge base, is what people are reflecting back to you, not what's in your head."
As a coach, I see this pattern constantly.
High-performing women who deliver extraordinary results — yet second-guess their worth because ease doesn’t feel like effort.
But the truth is: your ease is the evidence of mastery.
It’s the result of years of experience, refinement, and intuition. Not luck.
When you start seeing your value through the mirror of real results, client trust, and impact… the internal noise starts to quiet down.
Your work doesn’t have to feel hard to be valuable.
Sometimes, the thing that feels effortless to you is exactly what the world needs most.
