Carolina Waterfowl Rescue

Carolina Waterfowl Rescue (CWR) is non-profit 501c3 wildlife rescue organization located in Indian Trail, NC. CWR is run by federally licensed wildlife rehabilitators who provide sanctuary, rescue, and rehabilitation for wildlife, farm, and exotic animals.

In 2023, CWR provided care for over 7,500 animals. The rescue depends on volunteers who donate their time, money, and expertise to helping animals in need throughout the Carolinas. We assist local law enforcement in seizure cases and investigate nuisance referrals. Domestic fowl, farm, and exotic animals that have been surrendered to our care are available for adoption.
