HOW EVERYTHING STARTED

Bermuda Sands Apparel was founded in 2009 with the goal of offering traditionally fine-crafted and modern-styled golf shirts for the discerning club player, proud to wear the club’s emblem on his chest. 

From humble shirt beginnings, the brand has grown to include a women’s collection; women’s tops, women’s dresses, and women’s skorts fabricated from innovative, high-quality yarns. This year, the brand has also broadened its outerwear collection which is constructed mainly of cotton blended yarns.

The total garment line at Bermuda Sands Apparel extends to over 40 styles and has expanded to resort and lifestyle apparel. Bermuda Sands Apparel is as comfortable to wear on the golf course as on the beach, in the city, or at a leisure grill party.

HELPING THE PLANET

The brand has always represented a mission to help create a better world by being ecologically conscience. To date, many garments have been made with recycled yarns from over 10 million water bottles. By partnering with the finest environmentally focused manufacturers in the Americas, the collaboration creates the highest-quality sustainable fabrics in the region. 

Additionally, all suppliers must comply with their local and US environmental laws for knitting, dyeing and finishing, and apparel manufacturing. Our suppliers are constantly investing in green energy and are very active in expanding local supply chains resulting in a reduced carbon footprint. 

Projects include state-of-the-art water treatment centers, and the creation of a biomass forest where over 60,000 trees have already been planted as organic biomass is used instead of fossil fuels to provide steam in the production of fabric.

Most recently, in quarter 1 of 2023, 4000 solar panels were installed at the fabric manufacturer, producing clean energy for a modern facility. Bermuda Sands Apparel has an unwavering belief in near sourcing supply chains compared to a large portion of the competition, which primarily sources from Asia.
