As an audiovisual design consulting firm, Baker Audio Visual maintains a dedicated group of design engineers with a combined 200+ years of real-world experience and whose in-depth knowledge of both emerging technologies and traditional audio/video systems is a point of pride.
Every project is assigned a carefully chosen design engineer who will remain with you throughout the entire duration of your job: from concept through the commissioning process.
A “needs analysis” meeting will be conducted, involving all client-stakeholders as well as all design/construction partners.
Following these meetings, Baker Audio Visual will develop a scope of work describing the best value and functionality that can be achieved for the desired budget.
The aesthetics, acoustics and other pivotal holistic design considerations are then deeply delved into followed by demonstrations, both in-person and detailed pre-visualized renderings of how these technologies would work and look.
Once the designs are finalized, detailed documentation is prepared for the benefit of the client stakeholders, trade partners and Baker Audio Visual installation engineers.

The global technology superpower is a loyal Baker client. Their company continually calls upon our expertise and experience to design and install cutting-edge audiovisual systems as well as provide on-going technical support at their corporate offices in multiple states across the nation, including Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia.
In the case of this highly-automated demonstration space shown here, Baker Audio Visual programmers handled all of the complex back-end control programming. All the individual stations within the space are networked back to a central monitoring station where technicians can track room usage and offer remote support.
Philips Arena | Baker Audio Visual Improves the Game-Day Experience
Our approach was to completely overhaul the audio system with equipment manufactured by Harman International’s JBL brand, the official audio partner of the NBA. We integrated an exploded cluster array design including (8) six-box cluster arrays, each one housing (3) mid-high and (3) low-frequency PD series JBL speaker cabinets.
In addition, we installed (24) dual 18’’ diver subwoofer cabinets to provide low-end frequency support to drive the essence of the audio experience and replaced all amplifiers with Harman Crown series models. The project required we complete the work in a compressed 60-day time frame, working around the arena’s constant events. To complete the install on time, our team worked nights, weekends and any free hour available, coordinating every detail so that when the final switchover took place; everything was ready for show time.

The centerpiece of the project was the Network Operations Center, which serves as the main hub of the two-story, 42,000 square foot headquarters. In addition to high-quality sound systems, the Baker team presented a big vision to Satcom, to install seven 75” displays in the space to continually deliver content that helps the company support and maintain their extensive client base. That vision is now the reality that employees and guests experience every day.
