She spent 13 years as the opening Director of Sales for Homewood Suites by Hilton in Davidson, North Carolina, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the hotel’s success. Her expertise extends across renowned hospitality brands, including Embassy Suites by Hilton, Residence Inn by Marriott, and Sheraton. Today, Cristal serves as the Director of Sales for Hyatt Centric SouthPark, an upscale, AAA Four Diamond full-service hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Beyond her professional achievements, Cristal is deeply engaged in the Charlotte community, continuously expanding her network, forming strategic partnerships, and cultivating long-term relationships with clients and colleagues. With over 30 years of experience in hospitality sales, management and business  development, she has shared her insights and strategies with audiences at universities, women’s organizations, corporations, and nonprofit entities globally. 

She is known in her community for her sunshine energy, nurturing soul, and driven work with youth through her nonprofit Grooming Greatness.

Monique holds certifications from both Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and Duke University. She has received numerous awards over the year for her philanthropic endeavors and community leadership. 

She is also the author of five books, including her signature award-winning book:

"Unclogged: Targeting the Top 10 Mindset Cloggers to Business Success." This book has won the GOLD Award of Excellence in the Collateral-Self Promotions category for the Communicator Award.

 Jenny Dewberry is the Founder and CEO of PeoplePower Consultancy©. Her career began in fashion retail as a teen, later expanding into banking, where she strengthened her skills in professional etiquette. A licensed Managing Cosmetologist since 1994, Jenny owned two successful salons before relocating to Seattle and continuing her work with Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. With over 30 years of customer service experience, she is a Certified Elite International Image Consultant and Personal Brand Coach. Jenny now facilitates workshops and speaks on image, personal branding, and confidence, helping individuals step into their fullest potential.

After graduating with a degree in Finance (and a concentration in Risk Management & Insurance) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jana entered the claims world. Starting in material damage claims, she segued into bodily injury claims and landed specializing in material misrepresentations claims. After seeing the coverage issues insureds face when they’re not properly prepared or sufficiently covered in a loss, she decided to move to the agency side to provide better support.

At Community One Insurance, Jana has continued to grow, assist and educate customers on insurance tailored to their needs.  Jana is an active member of BNI, the Charlotte Area Chamber, and is co-chair of the 2025 Women in Business group through the Charlotte Area Chamber.  She continues to focus and support like-minded businesswomen, and advocates for women's financial literacy.
