This signature event, presented by the Yellow Tea Rose Foundation of North Carolina, brings the community together to celebrate the power of education and the promise of our youth. Enjoy live jazz performances, exquisite meal, and a sophisticated atmosphere—all in support of a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward scholarships for exceptional high school girls who are pursuing higher education at a four-year college or university. The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation of NC is a non-profit, charitable corporation that secures and distributes contributions from individuals, estates, government, corporations, foundations and other sources for the sole purpose of empowering and educating women in the Charlotte Metro community in collaboration with the Beta Omicron Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The Foundation was founded in the memory of Mrs. Hopie Perry, a deceased member of the Beta Omicron Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. The members of Beta Omicron Sigma Chapter had a desire to continue Mrs. Hopie Perry’s dreams of helping women further their education through awarding scholarships and creating partnerships to help empower and educate women in the community.
