Business owners and entrepreneurs work tirelessly to establish and grow their businesses. They not only provide their own income, but employ the majority of the American workforce. What happens when it’s time to sell the business? To take on investors? To allow employees to own a piece of the company? These events all require the business to have a value. The business owner should know what the value of the business they have created is worth and what options are available to turn that equity into cash for their next venture or their retirement. We will cover questions such as “Should I sell the entire business or retain a portion?” “How does my company’s growth impact the sales price?” “How can I help make sure that my customers are taken care of after I am no longer in control?” “What things can I do now to increase my business’s value?” This course is designed to give the foundational tools to business owners so they can answer these questions and navigate through the valuation process. We’ll show you how to find the current value of your business, weigh exit strategies, and approaches you can use today to increase the value of business.
