DESCRIPTION:The second annual Queen City Saves Lives community event will take place on September 12th at the Music Yard at Southbound in Charlotte\, NC. Live music\, entertainment\, food and beverages will be offered to 21+ crowd. Engage for good with community members and be inspired to register as a potential lifesaver with a simple cheek swab and offer a second chance at life for a blood cancer/blood disorder patient. DKMS\, an international nonprofit and world leader in the fight to delete blood cancer and other blood disorders\, began with one family's search to find a bone marrow match for their loved one. Since then\, DKMS has established a presence in (7) countries and registered over 12 million potential lifesavers and facilitated over 115\,000 second chances at life through blood stem cell/bone marrow transplantation. Our expansion into Charlotte\, NC (2022) offers an opportunity for us to continue our focus to grow and diversify the registry. We look to collaborate with partners\, ambassadors and volunteers to help raise awareness and support second chances at life for every patient. 100% of the proceeds from the Queen City Saves Lives event will support the DKMS mission to delete blood cancer once and for all.\nTo Purchase Tickets or Make a Donation (click logo)
